Ultra-low Temperature (300mK) High-magnetic Field (9-2-2T) Scanning Tunneling Microscope

This helium-3 cooled STM system is equipped with a three-dimensional vector magnetic field as well as high-frequency coaxial lines. The high-frequency capability (up to 40GHz with pulsed capabilities) allows for performing ESR on single atoms and molecules on surfaces for quantum sensing of magnetic materials and quantum simulations.
